Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/CNM/PA) for the Remote Care Team and in-person clinics in White River Junction, Barre, Rutland. This part-time role (28.5 hrs/week) offers a patient-centered GYN focus, with duties spanning contraception, pregnancy options, and gender-affirming care.

Responsibilities include comprehensive exams, counseling, and appropriate referrals, using EPIC EMR, and maintaining high-quality care within productivity

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Strong customer service mindset and teamwork.
• Ability to discuss all services provided by PPNNE with patients.

POSITION TITLE: Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/CNM/PA)

LOCATION: Remote Care Team (Tuesdays), White River Junction (Wednesdays), Barre (Thursdays), Rutland (Fridays)

HOURS: Part Time, 28.5/week, Hourly (Non-Exempt)

UNION MEMBERSHIP: This position is represented by AFT union in VT

POSITION PURPOSE:

Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC) provide patient-centered, personalized health care to clients. APCs along with Health Center support staff create a safe, non judgmental environment for people of all genders to access high quality reproductive & sexual healthcare.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides exceptional patient-centered care, in a manner that ensures compliance with current PPNNE efficiency and productivity standards.
• Assesses patient's health status and prescribes appropriate contraceptive methods, treatments for GYN problems
• Counsels/educates patients regarding general reproductive health care; all FDA-approved methods of birth control, including emergency contraception; pregnancy options including abortion, adoption as well as Gender Affining Hormone Therapy
• Provides health care that is culturally and linguistically appropriate to PPNNE patient populations.
• Performs appropriate physical exams, with focus on the reproductive system, including standard initial and annual exams, and screening procedures
• Refers patients to physicians and other health or social services as appropriate
• Responsible for accurately coding for medical services provided, in support of the organization’s overall revenue cycle.

COMPENSATION:

• Pay Range - the range of pay for this role begins at $56/hr
