Job summary

REFRESCO in Modesto, CA hires a skilled PLC Technician for industrial automation on beverage production lines. You will troubleshoot PLCs, modify programs, and upgrade control systems to improve safety and efficiency.

You will read electrical schematics, work with RSLogix, and support maintenance teams across shifts. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PowerFlex drives and ControlLogix platforms, plus strong problem-solving and teamwork traits.

Qualifications

Experience with PLC troubleshooting and automation systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics and P&ID symbols.
Proficiency with RSLogix 5000/500/5 and ControlLogix platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead troubleshooting during equipment failures and resolve issues with the production team.
Maintain and upgrade production equipment; install and test new equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC and automation issues.
Calibrate and test equipment for accuracy and compliance.
Assist with PLC system upgrades to optimize efficiency.
Train team members on basic PLC functions and troubleshooting.
Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
Identify process improvements to reduce costs.
