Job summary

Redwood Beverage Group is seeking a Control Technician in West Sacramento, CA to install, maintain, and repair electrical and PLC-controlled systems at our West Sacramento facility. The role supports high-speed manufacturing lines, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and uptime.

The successful candidate will diagnose faults, read schematics, and program/ troubleshoot VFDs while adhering to LOTO and Arc Flash standards. In-person work with cross-functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as an industrial electrician.
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in installing, programming, and troubleshooting VFDs.
• Strong knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to respond quickly to down equipment calls.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled equipment and HMIs.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and drawings.
• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective work orders.
• Install, program, and troubleshoot VFDs.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety protocols including LOTO and Arc Flash.
• Maintain detailed documentation and pass-down logs.
