Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is seeking an Advanced Pharmacy Technician to join its closed-door pharmacy team. You will ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance, working across workstations and coordinating with drivers to ensure accurate shipments.

The role requires a certified/licensed pharmacy technician, 1+ year experience, and ideally long-term care or retail pharmacy exposure. PTCB certification preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent.
• PTCB National Certification (preferred).
• Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Partner with supervisor to coordinate workflow for areas that prepare and process medications.
• Rotate through pharmacy workstations (Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Compounding, Omnicell).
• Performing physical inventories of medication.
