Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is seeking an Advanced Pharmacy Technician to support our closed-door pharmacy team in Maryland. You will ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance across multiple workstations, assist with packaging, dispensing, and inventory control, and collaborate with supervisors to maintain efficient workflows.

The role requires a licensed pharmacy technician with at least one year of experience, and a preference for experience in long-term care or pharmacy settings.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• One or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
• Preferred: long-term care experience and pharmacy/retail/customer service background
• PTCB National Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow for assigned areas that prepare and process medications
• Rotate through and work in packaging, staging, returns, receiving, narcotics, IV, Ekit, compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, machine packaging
• Receive product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, coordinate with drivers for timely deliveries
• Conduct physical inventories of medication
