Job summary
Omnicare is seeking an Advanced Pharmacy Technician to join its closed-door pharmacy team. You will ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance for patients, working across multiple workstations including packaging, dispensing, and inventory.
The role includes supporting workflow, stocking, coordinating with drivers, and front-end cross-training. Requires high school diploma, certified tech, and 1+ years of experience; benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and retirement options.
Qualifications
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
- 1+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance for patients across pharmacy workstations.
- Process medications, packaging and dispensing, and review delivery orders for accuracy.
- Coordinate stock rotations and inventories; receive deliveries and stage products for distribution.
- Assist with front end duties for cross training (phones and order entry).
- Support Omnicell restocks in nursing facilities.
