Responsibilities

• Independently prepares and dispenses patient-specific medication doses with correct drug, dose, form, expiration, and barcode.
• Compounds and manages complex sterile preparations, including chemotherapy, per USP guidelines and protocols.
• Manages inventory operations: ordering, stocking, rotating stock, and recounts.
• Ensures proper storage and cold chain custody; maintains inventory integrity.
• Leads or supports quality improvement and compliance initiatives and audits.
