Job summary

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required.
• At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in the current practice area (inpatient or retail) required.
• Additional certifications in relevant areas through PTCB preferred (e.g., CSPT, Nonsterile Compounding, Immunizations, Inventory Management, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assists the Pharmacist, under supervision, in the daily operation of the Pharmacy.
• For inpatient areas, advanced technician roles include IV/ hazardous drug compounding, inventory management, ADC replenishment, and training of entry-level technicians.
• For retail areas, performs complex duties supporting pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution, QA, auditing, and training oversight.
