Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician specialized in infusion services to join the Infusion Center. The role involves sterile and non-sterile compounding of hazardous drugs in the IV room for oncology-focused programs, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, sterile compounding experience, and a PTCB/PTCB certification; NPTA chemo certification and state license/registration are required or pursued as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of sterile compounding experience required.
• PTCB certification or obtained within 6 months of hire date.
• NPTA Chemo Certification or similar required.
• State license/registration required where applicable.
• 3 years of related pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounding of hazardous drugs for IV room.
• Support oncology programs with chemotherapy-related preparation and dispensing.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards in sterile compounding.
