Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern in Zachary, LA for a part-time role. You will learn under a preceptor, completing a structured training roadmap to prepare for a pharmacist role while assisting the pharmacy team with daily operations.

This role emphasizes patient care, adherence to SOPs, and opportunities to participate in immunizations and related clinical activities within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Preferred 1+ year of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide compassionate customer service and answer basic questions from patients.
• Support immunization services and other pharmacy programs where allowed by state law.
