Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Patient Care Technician II to deliver direct patient care under licensed supervision in a hospital or clinical setting in Maryland.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, phlebotomy, ADL assistance, monitoring patients, wound care, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure safety and comfort. Must have CNA/GNA and BLS, with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maryland CNA or GNA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under supervision.
• Obtain vital signs and monitor patient condition.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Support wound care, catheter management, glucose monitoring.
• Operate EKG equipment and assist with respiratory treatments.
• Maintain patient rooms and supplies; ensure patient safety and comfort.
