Job summary

Responsibilities include vital signs, ADLs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, wound care, catheter management, and glucose monitoring, with admissions, transfers, and hourly rounding.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, Maryland CNA/GNA certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or as stated in the posting.
• Current Maryland state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Obtain vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimen samples.
• Monitor patient conditions and document findings accurately.
• Assist with wound care and urinary catheter management.
• Monitor blood glucose and assist with orthopedic devices.
• Support admissions, transfers, discharges, and hourly rounding.
• Maintain a safe and organized clinical environment and communicate clearly.
