Job summary

Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the state of practice required
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally accredited nursing organization (e.g. AANP, ANCC) is preferred
- Specialty Certification as per client request and or state regulations if applicable
- One year experience as an NP preferred
- Maintain collaboration agreements, per state requirements
- Current CPR if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Responsibilities
- Provides health care services to patients within scope of license
- Performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests, assessments and screenings
- Prescribes medications
- Instructs patients and family members on medical conditions and treatment
- May have an area of specialty practice
