UTMB Health in Galveston, TX is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist II for EMG with a 24-hour-per-week, part-time schedule. You will perform EEG, IONM, LTM, EP, and NCV studies and mentor junior technologists.

The role requires an Associate degree in END or related program, UTMB-approved credentials (R. EEG T., CNIM, R.NCS.T., R. EP.T., or CLTM), three years of relevant experience, and current BLS certification. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in END or related program.
• Three years of experience performing neurodiagnostic procedures.
• Credentialed through UTMB-approved agency (R. EEG T., CNIM, R.NCS.T., R. EP.T. or CLTM).
• Current BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Establishes lab protocols according to ACNS Guidelines.
• Participates in tutoring, demonstrating, and mentoring other team members.
• Performs electroneurodiagnostic studies per written protocols.
• Explains procedures to patient, records medical history from patient/chart.
• Applies standard 10/20 electrode placement.
• Maintains patient safety and confidentiality.
