Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Multimodality Technologist to perform imaging across two or more modalities, including CT, MR, NM, or IR, with a focus on advanced procedures.

The role involves working with ambulatory and hospital patients under physician supervision to diagnose disease and injury, following established protocols. The position requires graduation from an accredited program and has growth opportunities within a large Texas health system.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality multimodality procedures according to exam protocol promptly.
• Demonstrates expertise in radiation dose reference levels and monitoring, takes action if dose exceeds limits.
• Uses iSTAT point of care testing to obtain creatinine levels.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET; establishes rapport and explains procedures clearly.
• Prepares patients and area; positions patient and selects appropriate settings and exposure factors.
• Adheres to safety, infection-control, and radiation policies; maintains sterile techniques.
• Maintains equipment and department environment; coordinates with engineers and manages supplies.
• Maintains and verifies documentation and imaging records in department systems.
