Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks an Advanced Microfabrication Technology Engineer to develop and implement micro-fabrication processes for high-precision interconnect components. You will lead lab and pilot-scale studies, qualify very small parts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include defining process windows, DOE plans, and metrology integration to ensure scalable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field; advanced degrees preferred.
• 2+ years in microfabrication/micro-scale manufacturing and assembly.
• Hands-on experience with multiple microfabrication methods.
• Ability to qualify processes for very small components with tight tolerances.
• Experience with laser welding, micro-soldering, and precision assembly.
• Strong data analysis and DOE/capability study skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and implement micro-fabrication processes for high-precision interconnect components.
• Lead lab and pilot-scale experiments to prototype microfabrication technologies.
• Define process windows, DOE plans, and characterization methods to ensure repeatable production.
