Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions seeks a Project Engineer to drive engineering and manufacturing initiatives across global operations. You will lead projects from concept to execution, develop plans, and optimize assembly processes in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

You will work with stamping, plating, molding, and assembly processes, interfacing with leadership and international sites. Frequent Asia travel and strong communication are essential for successful delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in an engineering role.
  • Experience with assembly process engineering is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with interconnect industry processes such as stamping, plating, molding, and assembly is helpful.
  • Proven project management experience, including creating and executing project plans.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across global teams.
  • Ability to travel frequently to Asia to support manufacturing operations.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress and driving accountability across stakeholders.
  • Support and optimize manufacturing and assembly processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.
  • Collaborate directly with global manufacturing sites, particularly in Asia, to support production and process implementation.
  • Interface with Business Unit leadership, engineering teams, and operations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical support related to stamping, plating, molding, and assembly processes.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders, including leadership updates and project reviews.

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to support engineering and manufacturing initiatives across our global operations. This role will focus on driving project execution, improving assembly processes, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and international manufacturing sites to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
