Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Skilled Technician to install, maintain, and repair automated material handling equipment to keep the supply chain running.

You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and support a fast-paced distribution center. This mid-level role offers promotion potential to Lead Technician/Tech III and requires 2+ years in industrial maintenance, with a high school diploma and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years’ experience in maintenance in a distribution, manufacturing or industrial setting
• Possess or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license
• PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring
• Experience with work order management and preventive/predictive maintenance procedures
• Knowledge of industrial tools, basic carpentry/plumbing, blueprints/schematics, electrical/electronic principles
• Experience with industrial controls and electronics
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls
• Experience with material handling equipment safety standards
• Experience with PLC programs and HMIs
• Ability to troubleshoot basic I/O functions
• Experience with robotic operation/maintenance

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of MHE on site
• Adjust scanners, cameras, field buses, scales and printer applicators
• Maintain and replace belts, chains, bearings, gears and pulleys
• Lubricate, clean, and calibrate equipment
• Use job plans, procedures, and manuals
• Maintain motors, relays, sensors, solenoids, tachometers, encoders
• Assist with basic electronics/PLC troubleshooting
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial robots
• Create and close Work Orders with data in asset management apps
• Develop positive relationships across the organization
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
