The Advanced Medical Support Assistant (AMSA) in Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Service at Iowa City VA Medical Center works within an interdisciplinary care delivery model and interfaces with CPRS, VistA, and MyHealtheVet to support Veterans’ care.

The AMSA independently performs duties in processing, care, and treatment of Veterans while functioning as a team member in the patient care setting, including answering phones, greeting patients, and scheduling appointments.

Competenze

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Education: high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• English language proficiency in speaking and writing.
