Job summary

Intermountain Health in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Certified Medical Physicist to lead design, QA, and optimization of advanced radiation treatment plans. You will work closely with physicians, dosimetrists, therapists, and leaders to ensure accuracy, safety, and high-quality patient care.

The role requires a Master’s in Health/Medical Physics, ABR/ABMP or Canadian certification, and state licensure. Strong collaboration and problem-solving are essential for success in this 40-hour workweek clinic

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health or Medical Physics from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
• Certification by ABR/ABMP in Radiation Oncology Physics or Canadian College of Medical Physics.
• Licensure in the state of practice as required.
• RAM license eligibility for HDR and RAM license potential per site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and evaluate radiation treatment plans for precise patient care.
• Provide expert technical guidance for radiation therapy procedures and delivery.
• Partner with leadership to maintain quality assurance programs and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate safety and regulatory requirements with the Radiation Safety Officer and RSO team.
• Support implementation of new technologies and process improvements to improve outcomes.
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork, excellence, and continuous learning.
