Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Phlebotomy certification (CPT).
• Minimum one year experience as a Medical Assistant in a primary care setting.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clinical tasks including vital signs, measurements, and screening.
• Assist with medication reconciliation and refill processing.
• Coordinate care, appointments and documentation using Epic/electronic health records.
• Maintain infection control and prepare clinic spaces for patient visits.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and health team members.
