Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service and professional communication.
• Ability to follow written instructions and clinical protocols.
• Familiarity with privacy requirements including HIPAA.
• Experience with clinical support activities and specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians and health care team in patient care and workflow.
• Register patients, verify eligibility, and schedule appointments.
• Take vital signs and room patients per unit guidelines.
• Document patient interactions and abnormal findings for the RN or clinician.
• Assist with examinations and procedures using sterile technique.
• Maintain supplies, restock rooms, and manage inventory.
• Respond to the advice line and direct patients appropriately.
• Ensure patient paperwork and instructions are completed before departure.
