Honeywell Aerospace US LLC is seeking an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead mechanical design for gas turbine engines, using NX CAD and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance solutions.
The role involves design through certification, weight optimization, and manufacturability considerations, with a hybrid work model and onsite start. Mentoring responsibilities and cross‑functional collaboration are key aspects.
As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical solutions. Your strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies will ensure that the products developed under your leadership meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your proficiency in CAD software and other design tools will enable you to effectively oversee the design process and ensure the delivery of innovative and high-performance mechanical solutions.
You will report directly to our Sr Mechanical Design Engineer Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.
