Job summary

AoPS Academy in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Math Instructor to deliver engaging, small-class instruction using our curriculum for advanced students. This is an on-site afterschool role with evening and weekend classes, requiring a minimum weekly commitment and one class per week.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree, show strong content knowledge in mathematics, and have teaching or tutoring experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong content knowledge in math.
• Experience teaching or tutoring students.
• K-12 classroom teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach math curriculum to small classes using AoPS materials.
• Engage students with active, student-led learning.
• Manage up to 16 students per class.
• Grade tests and provide feedback.
• Build relationships with students and families.
• Inspire love of learning and critical thinking in math.

Skills

Strong content knowledge in math
