Job summary

Mercury Marine is seeking an Assembly Technician to join a team dedicated to integrity, quality, and customer focus in engine production. You will assemble components for inboard and outboard marine engines and service parts using air and pneumatic tools, ensure safety and quality, and participate in training to support a flexible workforce.

You will operate equipment, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with peers to meet production goals while following SOPs and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Use air and pneumatic tools to assemble components for marine engines and service parts.
• Set up, adjust, and changeover equipment with common tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following SOPs and plant rules.
• Perform inspections at required intervals.
• Take action when out of tolerance conditions occur and notify responsible personnel.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and resolve issues.
• Participate in training and cross-training to support flexible workforce needs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components for inboard and outboard marine engines and service parts using air and pneumatic tools.
• Set up and adjust equipment and perform changes as required for different tasks.
• Maintain safe, organized work area and follow SOPs and safety rules.
• Inspect assemblies per classification and report out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Work with team to meet production targets and resolve issues.
