Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience or an equivalent mix of training and education
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance
• Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines
• Proficient in assembly, integration or test operations
• Proficient in reading and working from work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, wiring lists and related documentation

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and test complex assemblies/subsystems.
• Inspect and inventory parts to ensure compliance with work instructions and documentation.
• Verify dimensions and clearances using precision measuring instruments.
• Align, fit, and assemble parts using hand tools and fixtures.
• Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate assemblies under simulated operating conditions and record results.
• Support missile assembly, subsystem testing, environmental testing, and pack & ship operations.
• Collaborate with engineers and colleagues to identify, define, and solve problems.
• Participate in team-based Continuous Process Improvement initiatives.
• Provide and receive work direction within the team as needed.
