Job summary

Festo Didactic is seeking a Technical Instructor of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies to deliver training using curriculum prepared by the company. You will work with the training team to keep materials current and relevant to industry needs.

The role requires conducting site visits and maintaining strong public relations while commuting within the service area. Expect extensive travel and the ability to adapt teaching approaches across a range of learners from operators to university

Qualifications

Minimum three (3) years’ work experience in advanced manufacturing, mechatronics, process control, engineering, or related field.
Must demonstrate previous experience delivering training to employees.
Must possess extensive knowledge, skills, and experience to provide effective instruction in advanced manufacturing topics to include fluid power, PLC, maintenance, precision measurements, electricity, foundational manufacturing concepts, mechatronics, industrial robotics, and LEAN manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

Deliver training using curriculum developed, planned, and prepared by Festo.
Collaborate with the training team to revise and update curriculum to meet industry requirements.
Conduct site visits/evaluations to businesses and maintain good public relations within the service area.
Willingness to learn autonomously topics linked not necessarily to your actual specialization.
