The Industrial Maintenance Instructor will deliver approved curriculum, content, and assessments in an applied learning environment. Responsibilities for the Technical instructor include facilitation of activities and discussions that engage a range of learning styles with targeted guidance and demonstrated mentoring and teaching students real world applications. The Instructor is responsible for performing all aspects of instruction for assigned program to include, but not limited to, implementing, revising, and evaluating assigned program area curriculum; utilizing all resources available to innovate and to change to meet evolving program and industry needs. The technical instructor provides up-to-date skills training and instruction to meet the learning needs of students. The Instructor will also interpret and administer assessments, and offer constructive feedback to support student growth and learning outcomes. A key part of the role is to integrate technology effectively to enrich the educational experiences.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience
• Verifiable and demonstrated experience required.

Required Skills

• Strong Electrical/Programming skills.
• Working knowledge of Electrical Motor Control Systems, Electrical Motor Control Schematics, Maintenance of Industrial equipment and Mechanical Power Transmission systems.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of basic fluid power (hydraulic and pneumatic) systems.
• Working knowledge of programming electrical speed control systems (AC/DC Drives).
• Working knowledge of basic machining and welding.
