Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field; or 2+ years of manufacturing experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and geometric tolerancing.
• Able to drive multiple quality projects and travel up to 25%.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong written and verbal skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; no sponsorship.
• Lean manufacturing understanding is a plus.
• Experience with PC-DMIS/MODUS CMM programming and CAD tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead quality systems projects within AMT to meet safety, quality, and cost targets.
• Install qualifications, capability studies, and gage R&R for assembly and machining processes.
• Program part inspection systems using 3D CAD models in a virtual environment.
• Develop new gauging methods to improve accuracy and reduce costs.
• Provide training on inspection systems and support production issues.
• Initiate corrective actions and implement temporary and permanent fixes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
