Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking an experienced AME to develop and implement manufacturing strategies, optimize workflow, and specify tooling/equipment. The role involves coordinating with vendors to procure and install solutions at manufacturing facilities while meeting IOS, EHS, and product safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in manufacturing engineering, is willing to travel to customer sites, and can work across teams to improve processes and performance in automotive interiors

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, advanced manufacturing, process engineering, tooling, or similar
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
• Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies by utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, tooling and equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
• Create plans that optimize workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow.
• Create specifications for tooling and equipment and collaborate with vendors to procure, install and implement into the manufacturing facility.
• Adhere to IOS, EHS, Product Safety and Compliance requirements as part of daily work.
