Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, advanced manufacturing, process engineering, tooling, or similar
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
• Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• The AME works to develop and implement manufacturing strategies by utilizing their knowledge of product design, materials, tooling and equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
• They create plans that optimize work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow. The AME uses product requirements to create specifications for tooling and equipment and then works with vendors to procure, install and implement into the manufacturing facility.
