Dover Pumps & Process Solutions Segment, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Machining Engineer located in Houston, Texas. This role focuses on optimizing machining processes and integrating advanced technologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and at least five years of experience in machining automation. The position demands strong analytical and project management skills with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Reporting directly to the Global Manufacturing Manager, the Advanced Manufacturing Machining Engineer is responsible for executing the manufacturing roadmap. This includes optimizing machining processes, ensuring the proper use of equipment, reviewing design specifications and setups, and implementing new control strategies. This role integrates advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.
The Advanced Manufacturing Machining Engineer is also responsible for leading initiatives to ensure new equipment purchases are specified, sourced, qualified, and properly transitioned into production, meeting Dover Precision Components and customer requirements and timelines.
This role requires travel away from home up to 50% of the time during peak periods.
