Dover Corporation is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Machining in Houston, TX. This role focuses on executing manufacturing strategies, optimizing machining processes, and integrating advanced automation technologies.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, at least 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience, and proficiency in CAD and automation equipment. A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement is essential.

Reporting directly to the Global Manufacturing Manager, the Advanced Manufacturing Machining Engineer is responsible for executing the manufacturing roadmap. This includes optimizing machining processes, ensuring the proper use of equipment, reviewing design specifications and setups, and implementing new control strategies. This role integrates advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.
The Advanced Manufacturing Machining Engineer is also responsible for leading initiatives to ensure new equipment purchases are specified, sourced, qualified, and properly transitioned into production, meeting Dover Precision Components and customer requirements and timelines.
This role requires travel away from home up to 50% of the time during peak periods.
