Job summary

PACCAR's Kenworth Division in Kirkland, WA offers a 2026 internship program to gain hands-on experience with New Product Development and Operations Support. You will work with Advanced Manufacturing Engineers on data collection, process improvements, and documentation for various projects.

We seek engineering students, ideally juniors or seniors, who are proficient with Microsoft Office and have an interest in 3D modeling. The role includes competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering or related technical program.
• Junior or senior standing preferred.
• Experience with 3D modeling software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Advanced Manufacturing Engineers and other specialists in data collection and analysis.
• Develop, improve, and audit processes or documentation.
• Assist with management of Supply-Base Tooling and project updates.
• Create fixtures and assembly aids for new product projects.
• Analyze parts for manufacturability and assembly feasibility.
• Prepare a PowerPoint summary of internship accomplishments for end-of-summer presentation.
