Job summary

Peterbilt Motors Company in Denton, Texas is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to provide manufacturing engineering support, review DFMA, DFMEA, and PFMEA, and work with Windchill and DFA tools to improve cost, quality, and productivity.

You will lead RCAs, build capital tooling budgets, coordinate cross-functional teams, and support pilot builds and supplier interfaces. Travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 6+ years of engineering experience.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing support and input to design engineering.
• Review proposed engineering designs for manufacturing feasibility and recommend revisions to ensure DFMA.
• Review drawings for manufacturing using the Windchill environment.
• Lead/participate in new product development and launch processes.
• Support pilot builds and coordinate plant input and feedback.
• Drive RCCA investigations and implement solutions to improve future deployments.
