Job summary

Adventist Health Clear Lake is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Clearlake, CA. Schedule: Mon–Thu, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, 40 hours weekly. Competence in diagnostic and screening mammography with Hologic equipment is required, plus ARRT-R and MRT credentials.

The role requires a degree in radiologic technology, CA RT license, BLS, and ability to ensure patient privacy and safety. DEXA experience is preferred, as is Fluoroscopy license and Venipuncture certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required
• California RT license required
• ARRT-R certification required
• ARRT-M certification preferred in CA
• BLS certification required
• Mammographic Radiologic Technology MRT certification required
• Fluoroscopy license preferred in CA
• Venipuncture certification preferred in CA
• DEXA experience preferred
• Mammography experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and screening mammograms
• Assists radiologists with complex mammography examinations, including breast biopsies
• Patient education and preparation
• Produces high-quality mammography images for radiologist interpretation
• Maintains patient privacy, comfort, infection control, and safety standards
