Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in California. The role involves operating Hologic Mammography Equipment, performing screening and diagnostic mammography, and assisting radiologists with breast imaging and biopsy procedures.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, CA RT license, MRT license (required in CA), ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications, and a BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Mammography Technologist experience is preferred.
• CA Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• Mammography Technologist license (MRT) required in CA.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification is required.
• ARRT-M (Mammography) certification required in OR; preferred in CA & HI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Fluoroscopy license preferred in CA.
• Venipuncture certification preferred in CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures as ordered.
• Assist radiologists with advanced breast imaging and biopsy procedures.
• Ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnostic interpretation.
• Provide thorough patient education while maintaining privacy and comfort.
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols.
• Collect and document relevant patient history and exam preparation details.
• Collaborate with care teams and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Maintain compliance with all departmental and organizational standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned
