• Math proficiency (fractions/decimals) and comfort with digital forms and documentation.
• Adaptable, flexible, and effective verbal communicator.
• Preferred exposure to metal fabrication equipment (lasers, press brakes, thermoforming, robotics).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electro‑mechanical equipment; diagnose issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Execute breakdown repairs, equipment changes, and benchwork (rebuilds, cleaning, checks).
• Read manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams; use DMM for diagnostics.
• Complete inspections and in‑process quality checks; document results accurately.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production to meet daily work orders and milestones.
• Operate hand tools and small power tools; keep a clean, organized workspace.

As an Electro‑Mechanical Plant Maintenance Specialist on the Maintenance & Reliability team, you’ll be a go‑to problem solver who ensures equipment is safe, reliable, and production‑ready.Your ImpactMaximize uptime through rigorous preventive maintenance on major assets.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power‑transmission issues.Execute breakdown repairs, equipment changeovers, and benchwork (rebuilds, cleaning, operational checks).Leverage technical manuals, specifications, shop drawings, and schematics for accurate fixes.Complete seasonal and facility equipment checks, including during non‑standard hours when required.Safety & Quality FirstFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirements—every task, every time.Operate pallet jacks, lift trucks, jib/gantry cranes, and man lifts safely.Use hand and power tools correctly; sustain a clean, orderly workspace.Perform inspections, documentation, and in‑process quality checks with precision.Collaboration & LeadershipCommunicate equipment status with the Maintenance Manager, Senior Maintenance Technician, production teams, and the Shift Manager.Coach and support junior mechanics to build team capability.Coordinate with maintenance and production to meet daily work orders and project milestones.Continuous ImprovementPractice LEAN fundamentals—5S and continuous improvement—to enhance reliability.Support sustainability initiatives that cut energy use and reduce waste.Capture after‑action reports and maintain up‑to‑date procedures and records.Replenish parts, tools, and consumables to keep work flowing.Facilities SupportAssist with painting, drywall work, and basic plumbing repairs.Qualifications3–5 years in mechanical maintenance or related industrial mechanical roles.Strong troubleshooting ability across electro‑mechanical systems; able to read schematics and wiring diagrams and use a DMM.Math proficiency (fractions/decimals) and ease with digital documentation and forms.Adaptable, flexible, and skilled verbal communicator.Preferred exposure to metal fabrication equipment: lasers, press brakes, thermoforming, robotics.Working ConditionsStand and walk up to 90% of a shift.Frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.Work at ground level, at heights, and in confined spaces.Experience manufacturing noise, temperature swings, and periodic outdoor exposure.Available for any shift; regular overtime and some weekends are expected.Pay & BenefitsHiring Compensation Range: Up to $36/hrComprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k), employee stock ownership plan, and more.
