Job summary

Canam Steel Corp in Buckeye, AZ is seeking self-motivated, safety-conscious candidates to join our production team. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for overtime and bonuses.

You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, operate cranes and other equipment, and perform general maintenance. A high school diploma and 3+ years of maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school preferred.
• At least 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• At least 1 year of welding and fabricating experience preferred.
• Knowledge of overhead cranes, bearings, hydraulics, and drives.
• Must have low voltage electrical knowledge.
• Experience in operating, troubleshooting and repairing various production machinery.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Analyze and repair overhead cranes, roll formers, press brakes, and welders.
• Assist with servicing and repairing complex equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Perform general building and trailer/vehicle maintenance.
• Work flexible hours including overtime and weekends as needed.
