Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Tyler, Texas warehouse. You will ensure reliability, performance, and safety of facility equipment, building systems, and material‑handling gear in a fast‑paced environment, performing complex repairs, upgrades, fabrication, and preventive maintenance.

You will guide technicians, read schematics, conduct root‑cause analyses, and document work in the CMMS while maintaining inventory and contributing to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• OSHA 10 OR OSHA 30 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, HVAC, and fire suppression systems.
• Monitors complex repairs, system rebuilds, and equipment overhauls.
• Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical control systems including motors, relays, drives, PLC‑controlled equipment, and 3‑phase power.
• Reads and interprets advanced electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Performs root‑cause analysis and implements corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Executes and improves preventive maintenance tasks and updates PM records in the CMMS.
