Job summary

T C Industries in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair a limited variety of production equipment. You will work from prints, sketches, manuals, parts lists, wiring diagrams and maintenance work orders to keep equipment running.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing components, performing preventive maintenance, documenting changes, and supporting safe, efficient operations on the shop floor.

• Disassemble, inspect and replace damaged components such as bearings, gears, belts and motors.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and document findings.
• Notify supervisor to reorder parts as needed.
• Perform repair and fabrication operations as required.
• Install and/or assist in equipment installation.
• Perform safety inspections and document changes.
• Document print/procedure changes as required.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
