Job summary

Yamaha Precision Propellers in Greenfield, IN is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for 2nd or 3rd shift. You will troubleshoot, repair production equipment, perform preventive maintenance and help improve system reliability across the facility.

The role requires experience in a manufacturing environment, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to work across shifts with safety as a priority. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 3-4+ years of production line maintenance experience.
• Manufacturing environment with strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Vocational/college coursework or equivalent maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Performs reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from failures.
• Identifies causes of unexpected breakdowns for machines.
• Applies continuous improvement to equipment.
• Repairs mechanical, electrical, and structural components and fabricates retrofits.
• Maintains shop areas, tools, and supplies.
