Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Dedicated Advanced Service Technician to maintain RaceTrac Travel Centers and EDO stores, ensuring operability and appearance around the clock. The role involves HVACR, electrical, plumbing and plumbing, and handling petroleum dispensing systems, with cross-functional project support and adherence to local guidelines.

Ideal candidates have four or more years of experience in maintenance, basic Microsoft Office skills, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• General maintenance knowledge and repair procedures required.
• Ability to use common tools and office equipment required.
• Food and beverage equipment repair knowledge preferred.
• Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge preferred.
• Technical school training in HVACR or electrical preferred.
• Experience in a retail maintenance environment preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Four or more years of work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve maintenance and service issues at the RaceTrac Travel Center to ensure full operability 24/7, thereby increasing profitability.
• Treat stained areas with chemical degreaser and perform daily pressure washes of store sections.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, and all other work areas.
• Maintain all trash on site during the shift.
• Ensure each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service.
• Serve as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, foodservice/beverage amenities, and petroleum dispensing systems.
• Accurately maintain equipment, tools, and inventory on site.
• Provide project support to cross‑functional departments in various store initiatives.
• Respond to ad hoc maintenance requests communicated by store personnel as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services.
• Perform other work‑related duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with other ASTs to cross‑train in multiple trades.
