Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to repair, overhaul, and maintain equipment and facilities at the Portland-area site.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety adherence, and hands-on fabrication and modification work. You will troubleshoot vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic, and related systems, operate tools and welding equipment, and support multiple departments with planning and technical assistance.

Qualifications

• Read, interpret and follow specifications on tech cards, work orders, repair manuals, blueprints and drawings.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally; work independently and in a team.
• Assist other departments through planning and technical assistance processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment and facilities.
• Repair, overhaul, maintain, install and fabricate modifications to equipment and facilities as required.
• Troubleshoot vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic, induction heating, lubrication, abrasive and pressure cleaning systems and their components.
• Maintain machine tools and equipment used for maintenance.
