Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a full-time Maintenance professional to repair, overhaul, maintain, install, and modify equipment in the Structurals division.

You will identify preventive maintenance programs and perform repairs to keep manufacturing and facilities running safely and efficiently. The role requires journey-level skills in plumbing, sheet metal, machining, welding, and carpentry, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret and follow specs, work orders, manuals, blueprints.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Assist other departments through planning and technical support processes.
• Valid driver’s license to drive PCC vehicles.
• Physical ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment and facilities.
• Repair, overhaul, maintain, install and fabricate modifications to equipment and facilities as required.
• Troubleshoot vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic, induction heating, lubrication, abrasive and pressure cleaning systems and components.
• Maintain machine tools and equipment used for maintenance.
