Job summary

Cenveo, a leading envelope manufacturer in North America, is hiring an Advanced Machine Operator (Machine Adjuster Level 1) at our Chicopee, MA facility. The role focuses on setup, timing, changeovers, and equipment adjustments with hands-on mechanical work and strong safety emphasis.

The position offers 3rd shift hours (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) with a $2/hr premium, occasional 1st shift training, and potential advancement to higher-level machine adjuster roles based on performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on mechanical, industrial, automotive, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proven ability to set up, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer, math, and measurement skills, including reading a ruler accurately.
• Flexibility to work on various machine platforms as needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, adjust, and operate high-speed envelope manufacturing equipment.
• Learn machine timing, part installation/removal, and complete product changeovers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and support production quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all safety procedures.
