Job summary

OU Health is seeking a part-time Respiratory Care Practitioner I for the Advanced Lung Diseases Clinic in Oklahoma City. You will assist with oxygen certification, airway clearance education, and PFT lab duties, rotating schedules across clinic days (mostly Tue–Thu; Mon/Fri as needed).

You will perform therapeutic treatments, maintain equipment, and participate in emergency response, under medical supervision and in collaboration with pulmonology providers.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care (CoARC accredited).
• Experience: No prior experience required.
• Licensure: RCP license; CRT within 90 days; RRT within 1 year; BLS; ALS within 3 months; PALS within 90 days if working at Children's.

Responsibilities

• Administers therapeutic treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
• Rotates with other RRTs in performing pulmonary function testing in the PFT lab space.
• Participates in quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests.
• Maintains respiratory equipment and records treatment information.
