Job summary

North East Ambulance Service, Inc. in Ohio seeks an EMT-Paramedic/Driver to deliver advanced life support and basic life support care, perform patient assessments, and transport patients to care facilities.

You will operate ambulances and related equipment, record vital signs, and maintain cleanliness and readiness of vehicles and supplies. Ideal candidates hold EMT-Paramedic credentials, a valid Ohio driver’s license, and are prepared for on-call demands and public safety duties.

Qualifications

• Must meet the qualifications of an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic/Driver.
• No criminal record with verdicts other than non-guilty; factors considered by Administration for relevance.
• After orientation, minimum 30 hours ride along time with ALS Field Training Officer.
• May not be concurrently employed by any other ambulance service or entity with potential conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support and basic life support treatment and transport.
• Safe and efficient operation of ambulances and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of transport and equipment usage.
• Inspect and maintain ambulance, vehicles, equipment, and supplies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical personnel, and the public.
