Job summary

PaffordEmergency Medical Services seeks a capable Advanced Life Support provider to lead on-scene care, direct responders, and transport ill or injured patients to hospitals. You will perform high-stakes medical interventions, document care, and communicate with hospital staff to ensure continuity of care.

The role requires AEMT licensure, CPR, ACLS and PALS, plus a valid driver’s license and ongoing education to maintain credentials.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain unrestricted AEMT Licensure/ Certification.
• CPR for Health Care Provider and ACLS/PALS certifications required.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate emergency vehicles.
• Knowledge of EMS systems, street layouts, and rescue equipment use.
• Completion of CEVO or EVOC and NIMS 700 training prior to/within date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Advanced Life Support to ill/injured patients on-scene.
• Coordinate with EMTs, police, and other responders at medical emergencies.
• Maintain quality patient care and complete standardized patient reports.
• Operate emergency vehicles safely and transport patients to care facilities.
• Attend continuing education to maintain annual certifications.
