Job summary

Minnetonka Public School Service Center seeks a Class C Advanced Learning Middle School Para for MME and MMW, 24 weekly hours. This role supports Advanced Learning services, assists with testing procedures and data collection, and helps organize extension activities.

Responsibilities include scheduling and administering assessments, proctoring tests, data entry, and helping students with executive function and enrichment projects.

Qualifications

• Evidence of successful experience working with middle school aged students.
• Evidence of successful experience organizing projects, events or programs.
• Evidence of successfully using technology platforms such as Google Workspace and Microsoft.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling, communication, and logistics related to testing procedures under the direction of the Advanced Learning teacher.
• Schedule and administer assessments (standardized tests, final exams, etc.) to students taking advanced courses outside the middle school.
• Proctor math, science, reading, and writing assessments for students to on-ramp to honors or accelerated courses.
• Enter and organize student data accurately and confidentially.
• Prepare file review documents.
• Schedule and manage Continental Math League extension and other school-wide extension opportunities (e.g. Be the Scientist, Geography Bee).
• Administer placement tests and assessments to support differentiation.
• Support students with needs such as executive function, social, and emotional development.
